CHALLENGE: Planning and modification of four US regional biomedical testing laboratories. ProFicient was hired to consult on the design and construction of four laboratories, three of which were completed in simultaneous construction. ProFicient was responsible for the Request for Proposals and Contracting phase of the project, including requirements definition, logistical analysis, workflow analysis and project planning. APPROACH: ProFicient applied project management software and tools, performed analysis, made recommendation for enhancement of business processes, and both authored and reviewed documentation required to support the project. RESULT: All four laboratories are currently in operation. Project goals were met on schedule and under budget.
